Merrill Weber has over 35 years of work experience in the legal and business sectors. From 1985 to 2017, Weber held various positions at Mayer Brown, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, D'Ancona & Pflaum (now Seyfarth Shaw LLP), Israel Growth Fund, Merrill Weber & Co., Inc., Advanced Stent Technologies, Wacker Services Corp., Stoma Dental, and VOTIS Subdermal Imaging Technologies, Ltd. Weber started their career as an Associate at Mayer Brown and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, where they represented publicly-traded and privately-held issuers of equities and debt in offerings, buy-outs and recapitalizations, and underwriters in stock and bond offerings. Merrill then moved on to become Co-Manager at Israel Growth Fund and Associate at D'Ancona & Pflaum (now Seyfarth Shaw LLP), where they prepared stockholder agreements and loan agreements. Weber then founded Merrill Weber & Co., Inc., where they raised in excess of $70 million for public and private companies in private placements of common and preferred stock to accredited investors, QUIBs, hedge funds and venture funds. Merrill then became General Counsel and then President of Advanced Stent Technologies, where they consulted effectively with the company's largest investor, chairman, board of directors, chief medical officer, scientific advisory board, and research and development and manufacturing department heads. Weber then became General Counsel of Wacker Services Corp., where they identified and developed investment strategies and business opportunities, conducted due diligence analysis on prospective portfolio investments, and created and reviewed legal documents. Merrill then founded Stoma Dental, where they brought the first product from ideation through commercial release. Lastly, Weber became Co-Founder, CEO, and President of VOTIS Subdermal Imaging Technologies, Ltd., a development-stage company organized in Israel that is developing a system to screen the feet of diabetics for peripheral artery disease and related pathologies.

Merrill Weber attended Columbia Law School from 1981 to 1984 and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree. From 1978 to 1979, they attended Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism and received a Master's degree in Journalism. From 1974 to 1978, they attended Columbia College, Columbia University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theirtory. Weber is also licensed to practice law in New York and Illinois.
