Jorge Junqueira

Jorge Junqueira has extensive experience in finance and investment management, currently serving as Portfolio Manager and Corporate Development at Votorantim since June 2022. Prior to this role, Jorge was a Partner in Equity & Credit at Gauss Capital from May 2017 to June 2022 and worked as an Equity Research and Credit Analyst in Asset Management at Credit Suisse Brasil from May 2017 to January 2019. Jorge previously held the position of Portfolio Manager and Corporate Development at Votorantim S.A. from December 2015 to May 2017 and served as an Equity Research Analyst at 3G Capital from May 2012 to November 2015. Earlier career experience includes working as a Quantitative Analyst on the Trading Desk at Itau BBA from August 2009 to May 2012, where Jorge also interned in the Options Proprietary Trading Desk. Jorge holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA, obtained between 2006 and 2010.
