Keith Laaks

Keith Laaks has a strong technical background and has worked in the telecommunications industry for several companies. Keith started their career at SENTECH in 2003, where they worked as a Technical Specialist and helped the company adapt to the challenges of implementing VoIP technology. In 2005, they joined Orion Telecom as the VoIP Network Manager and was responsible for architecting and rolling out the VoIP network for the company. In 2009, Keith joined Vox Telecom as the Head of R&D, where they played a key role in selecting and introducing strategic products and platforms. Keith was later promoted to the position of Head of Research and Development and then Executive Head: Technology (CTO), managing a technical division responsible for the development and support of core facilities and telecommunication systems.

Keith Laaks attended Stellenbosch University from 1983 to 1988, where they studied Electronics Engineering and earned an MSC degree.
