Cristian Ayala

Cristian Ayala is an experienced audio engineer and podcast producer with a strong background in sound design, mixing, and mastering. Currently working at Vox Media, LLC since March 2021, Cristian focuses on enhancing the audio quality for science podcasts. Previous roles include podcasting consultant at Casted, where Cristian produced content for a B2B platform, and podcast producer at Acuris, creating interview series for industry-specific publications. Cristian also developed a pilot podcast for Bookstr and completed a Podcast Certificate Program through the Independent Filmmaker Project. Additional experience includes sound design for a fiction podcast series at Whalebus and earlier internships in video production and sound design. Cristian holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from New York University and has specialized training in audio through the School of Video Game Audio.
