Jim Bankoff

Jim Bankoff is the current Chairman & CEO of Vox Media. Jim has held this position since January 2012. Prior to this, they were the Senior Advisor at Providence Equity Partners from April 2007 to December 2009. Before that, they were a Board Member at Where, Inc. from January 2008 to December 2011. Jim Bankoff's career started at CNN where they were a Production Assistant/Intern from January 1991 to December 1991. Jim then became the President at Netscape from January 1999 to December 2001. After that, they became the Executive Vice President of Programming and Products at AOL, LLC from August 2000 to March 2007.

Jim Bankoff graduated from Philips Exeter Academy and then Emory University. Jim then went on to get their MBA from The Wharton School.
