Clifton van der Linden serves as an Associate Professor at McMaster University, holding dual roles as the Inaugural Academic Director of both the Master of Public Policy Program and the Digital Society Lab since 2019. Prior to this, Clifton held the position of Assistant Professor at the same institution. In addition to academic roles, Clifton founded and operates Vox Pop Labs since 2010, where the role of Chief Executive Officer is undertaken. From 2017 to 2019, Clifton was the Chief Scientist and co-founder of Delphia. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Political Science from the University of Toronto, a W18 degree from Y Combinator, a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from the Creative Destruction Lab, an MA in Journalism from Western University, and an Honours BA in Economics and Political Science with a Minor in Business from McMaster University.
