Emilia Columbo

Emilia Columbo has extensive work experience in the field of security analysis and intelligence. Emilia is currently working as a Senior Security Risk Analyst at VoxCroft Analytics since May 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Associate (non-resident) at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) starting from June 2019.

Emilia's career began with the US Government in 2000, where they held the position of Intelligence Analyst. In this role, they utilized their deep expertise in African and Latin American political-security issues to provide comprehensive strategic analytic insights to high-level US officials in various departments. Emilia was recognized for their exceptional briefing skills and was selected to brief senior National Security Council officials, the President, and officials in the US Department of Justice.

During their tenure in the US Government, Emilia was also appointed as a detailee to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Office for Western Hemisphere. Here, they authored long-term strategic analytic products on Latin American political and security issues, often working under tight deadlines.

Emilia Columbo pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government at UC Santa Barbara from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they attended Georgetown University from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Masters of Science in Foreign Service with a specialization in International Relations and Affairs.
