Dave Mekelburg

Dave Mekelburg has over 10 years of work experience in various roles. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Graduate Student and Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania and the Center for the Advanced Study of India, respectively. In 2012, they became the Head of Operations and Account Management for Cater2.me. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Head of Operations for Sendwave (International Remittance), Co-founder/Head of Operations for Modern Market, and Co-founder/Head of People for BTWN. In 2016, they were the Chief of Staff and Head of People for Wade & Wendy (acquired by PandoLogic). From 2020 to 2021, they were the Co-founder, Host, and Organizer for the Recruitment Automation Community and Head of People and Head of Operations for PandoLogic. Currently, they are the COO at Voxel51, where they are working to make the present and future of AI + computer vision possible, safer, and more equitable.

Dave Mekelburg received their Master of Arts (MA) from the University of Pennsylvania between 2010 and 2012. Dave had previously earned their BA from the University of Michigan between 2004 and 2008.
