Frédéric de Laminne de Bex

Co-Founder, Board Member and CFO at VoxelSensors

Frédéric de Laminne de Bex has extensive work experience in various roles across different companies. Frédéric co-founded VoxelSensors in 2020 and served as the CFO and a board member. VoxelSensors is a semiconductor start-up aiming to develop new optical sensors for intelligent machine perception.

Frédéric also served as a board member and treasurer of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC) starting in 2018. WAIFC is a non-profit association promoting finance as a link between investors and issuers. Frédéric was involved in expanding the alliance to include additional financial centers.

Prior to their role in WAIFC, they served as the Secretary General of the Belgian Finance Center from 2014 to 2022. Frédéric managed the organization's operations and activities.

Before that, Frédéric held the position of Managing Director at Pharma Chemicals from 2017 to 2020.

Frédéric also worked at Euronext from 2003 to 2013 as the Director of Issuers & Listing.

From 1999 to 2003, Frédéric served as the General Manager of E-Capital Equity Management, a venture capital fund focused on financing young companies.

Frédéric started their career in 1984 at BNP Paribas Fortis, where they spent 12 years in the Corporate & Investment Banking department. Frédéric held various roles in commercial, financial engineering, analysis, and new product development.

Frédéric de Laminne de Bex's education history is as follows:

From 1989 to 1990, they attended the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, where they earned a Certificate in International Tax.

From 1981 to 1983, they pursued an MBA in Finance at the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.

Between 1976 and 1981, they studied at the University of Liège, obtaining a degree in Ingénieur Civil with a focus on Constructions - Logistique.

From 1964 to 1976, they attended Saint Louis Waremme, where they received a Latin Math education.
