Karolina also built and led the entire digital marketing function, tripling the ROAS within a year.
Before DreamHack, Karolina joined Paradox Interactive as a Performance Marketing Manager, where they built awareness, drove traffic, and worked on games like Empire of Sin, Victoria 3, and Europa Universalis 4.

Karolina Andersson completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Digital Media Management from Hyper Island from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate education at Linnaeus University from 2011 to 2014, where they studied Media Management with a focus on Media and Communication. In 2009, Karolina attended Fridhems folkhögskola, where they specialized in Photography. Before that, they completed the Media program with a focus on journalism at Filbornaskolan from 2005 to 2008.
In addition to their formal education, Karolina has also obtained certifications in various fields. In December 2018, they received a certification in Music Industry: Label Rights from DMG Education. More recently, in August 2021, they obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google.
