Karolina Andersson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Karolina has held various roles in marketing, digital marketing, and project management.

Most recently, Karolina is working as the Head of Marketing at Voxo, where they are responsible for developing and implementing the overall marketing strategy across various channels.

Prior to Voxo, Karolina worked at King as a Community & Social Manager, focusing on community-led development, content creators, and narrative strategies for new games. Karolina successfully launched King's first midcore mobile game and managed social channels.

Karolina also worked as a Digital Marketing Consultant at NoA Connect, where they provided consultation on digital marketing strategies.

At DreamHack, Karolina held two positions: Marketing Lead and Lead Marketing Manager. In these roles, they led marketing strategies and operational work for B2C marketing and communications, successfully launching DreamHack Beyond and contributing to significant signups for their Fortnite tournaments. Karolina also built and led the entire digital marketing function, tripling the ROAS within a year.

Before DreamHack, Karolina joined Paradox Interactive as a Performance Marketing Manager, where they built awareness, drove traffic, and worked on games like Empire of Sin, Victoria 3, and Europa Universalis 4.

Karolina's earlier experiences include working as a Project Manager in PR & Marketing at Sony Music Entertainment and as a Qualitative Data Analyst at Hyper Island. Karolina also had a role in Business Operations at Monzo Bank.

Outside of their corporate work, Karolina has experience as a facilitator and speaker, giving talks on topics such as rapid ideating, creativity, and organizational culture.

Karolina Andersson completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Digital Media Management from Hyper Island from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate education at Linnaeus University from 2011 to 2014, where they studied Media Management with a focus on Media and Communication. In 2009, Karolina attended Fridhems folkhögskola, where they specialized in Photography. Before that, they completed the Media program with a focus on journalism at Filbornaskolan from 2005 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Karolina has also obtained certifications in various fields. In December 2018, they received a certification in Music Industry: Label Rights from DMG Education. More recently, in August 2021, they obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google.
