Elena Figueira Rodríguez began their work experience in 2012 as an Ingeniero Electrónico at SENER, where they were responsible for designing and implementing software and hardware for a test bench to check electronic cards for the Iris-T missile project.

In 2013, Elena joined IXION Industry & Aerospace, S.L as an Ingeniero de Desarrollo. Elena worked on the AUV Cepsa project, developing artificial vision algorithms for an autonomous underwater vehicle to detect oil leaks. Elena also worked on the Multi-Rotores project, developing navigation systems for unmanned drones.

Elena then moved to TECHONRAILS in 2015, starting as an Ingeniero de Integración y Pruebas. Elena participated in the development and launch of a level 3 ERTMS railway simulator, where they were responsible for assembling and integrating different railway signaling systems. Elena also worked as an Ingeniero de Desarrollo, Integración y Pruebas V&V on the PTC project, carrying out verification and integration tests.

In 2018, Elena joined MMG as a Data Scientist. Elena specialized in machine learning and deep learning techniques applied to NLP systems. Elena'srole involved developing AI projects in the field of natural language processing and computer vision.

Currently, Elena is working as an AI Engineer at VoxSmart, starting in 2021.

Elena Figueira Rodríguez has a diverse education history. Elena completed a Master's degree in Data Science from the Universidad de Alcalá from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Artificial Vision from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos between 2014 and 2016. Elena also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Automatic Engineering from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, which they completed from 2008 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Elena has obtained several certifications. Elena completed the "Introduction to Machine Learning in Production" course from Coursera in October 2022. In April 2021, they completed another Coursera course called "Introduction to Machine Learning." Prior to that, they completed the "Python for Everybody Specialization" course from Coursera in September 2020 and the "Natural Language Processing with Classification and Vector Spaces" course from Coursera in April 2020. Elena also holds a certification as a "CLAD (NI Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer)" from National Instruments, obtained in January 2014. Additionally, they obtained a certificate in "Machine Learning" from Coursera Course Certificates in January 2015.
