Miranda Loos

Miranda Loos has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Miranda currently serves as the Director of Partnerships at EnGen, where they build and nurtures partnerships with organizations in the higher education, corporate, government, and nonprofit sectors. Their role involves equipping these organizations with technology and support to improve their talent pipeline, promote economic mobility, and provide a better quality of life for workers, immigrants, and refugees. Prior to EnGen, Miranda worked as a Business Development and Partnership Manager at the Robertson Center for Intercultural Leadership (CIL), a center for training and research that focuses on advancing leadership, understanding, and collaboration across cultures. Miranda was responsible for delivering customized training to clients across various sectors. Before that, Miranda served as a Senior University Relations Manager at Dream Careers Inc., where they cultivated relationships with universities to facilitate student involvement in a global internship program. Miranda also developed marketing plans and collaborated with partner universities to ensure a seamless program experience. Miranda's earlier experiences include serving as a Coordinator of Special Projects at Sussman Sales, where they managed the sales team and conducted market research, and as a School Director and Student Services Manager at Kaplan International Colleges, where they directed the operations and development of an ESL school and advised international students on various aspects of their academic and living experiences. Miranda began their career as an Assistant to the Events Coordinator at New York University, where they assisted in planning and producing university events. Miranda also worked as a Helping Hands Outreach Coordinator at MADRE, conducting research on human rights and coordinating outreach programs. Additionally, Miranda has experience teaching English as a second language at Nova Holdings, where they taught children and adults of various levels. Throughout their career, Miranda has demonstrated a strong focus on education, intercultural leadership, and making a positive impact on individuals' lives.

Miranda Loos holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Miranda also obtained their MA in International Education from New York University. Additionally, Miranda has received several certifications, including "Databases and SQL for Data Science," "Data Science Methodology," and "Open Source Tools for Data Science" from Coursera. Miranda obtained these certifications in 2020. In 2017, they obtained the "2017 ASU GSV Summit" certification from ASU GSV Summit and the "GlobeSmart Profile Certification" from Aperian Global in February of that year.
