Rod Martin

Rod Martin is an accomplished executive in the insurance sector, currently serving as Executive Chairman at Voya Financial since March 2011, after holding the positions of Chairman and CEO. With extensive leadership experience, Martin has been a member of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement USA and a board member for the American Council of Life Insurers since 2016. Prior roles include Chairman and CEO of American Life Insurance Company (ALICO) and EVP of Life Insurance at AIG from 2001 to 2010. Martin's earlier career at American General included several prominent roles, culminating in Chairman, President, and CEO. Martin's professional journey began at Connecticut Mutual Insurance Services, where various positions led to the presidency. Martin holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Alfred University.
