Poonam Basu is an accomplished freelance screenwriter and voice actor currently working with Voyage Media since November 2019, focusing on adaptations across various genres such as children's animation and cultural drama. With extensive experience in the entertainment industry, Poonam has been a professional actor since March 2011, affiliated with AEA and SAG/AFTRA, and an associate member of Ensemble Studio Theater LA. Previous roles include co-founder and executive producer at Team Rebelution Films, where four short films received multiple nominations and awards, and project manager at Veyebo. Poonam's diverse skill set also encompasses experience as a director's assistant at Rareform Pictures Inc. and a freelance writer for GUANG DONG WINSING COMPANY LIMITED. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Educational Children's Television and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature, both from New York University.
