Smita Rao

Smita Rao is an experienced Quality Assurance professional with a strong background in leading QA teams and implementing test automation strategies. Currently serving as the Quality Assurance Team Lead at Voyant since January 2024, Smita previously held the position of QA Automation Team Lead at Koddi from February 2021 to December 2023, where responsibilities included managing a team, mentoring staff, and establishing testing standards. With prior roles at CACI International Inc. as a Principal Software Development Engineer in Test, Smita contributed to DevOps efforts and automated testing processes. Earlier career experiences include positions at Actian, Analog Devices, Click2Learn, and Singapore Technologies, showcasing a robust foundation in software development and testing. Smita holds an Executive Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, along with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas State University, and has foundational degrees from the Illinois Institute of Technology and Bangalore University.
