Cynthia Nicklin

Cynthia Nicklin currently serves as the Data Governance Lead at Voyatek since June 2023, following the role of Lead Data Governance Specialist at Clearcover, where significant advancements in data governance and interoperability were achieved. Previous experience includes Data Operations Manager at the NYC Mayor's Office of Data Analytics, where Cynthia established the Data Operations portfolio and represented the agency at citywide and national events. As Director of Data Governance at the NYC Department of Buildings, pioneering efforts in data governance culture and successful management of the agency's open data program were made. Other roles include Project Manager at Vizalytics Technology Incorporated and various positions within the public sector, showcasing a strong background in data management, governance, and user-centered design. Cynthia holds a Master of Library Science from Queens College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University.
