Scott James

Scott James is a mechanical engineer currently serving as a Team Leader at Vitol, where they focus on providing technical solutions with an emphasis on health and safety, reliability, and project management. With previous experience as a mechanical engineer at Drax Group and ScottishPower, as well as roles in toolmaking and supervision, Scott has developed a methodical and outcome-based approach to engineering challenges. They are also the Growth Technical Lead at VPI since 2024 and have managed multiple PSSR outage projects from 2022 to 2024. Scott holds a Level 3 extended diploma and an HNC in mechanical engineering from Pembrokeshire College.
