David Keene

David Keene has a diverse work experience in technology and leadership roles. David is currently the Vice President of Engineering at VPL. Prior to this, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Triad Fitness Group, LLC, where they played a crucial role in creating digital fitness adventures. David also founded Software In Reach, a company focused on developing mobile software for various platforms. David has served as the Chief Technology Officer at VitalSigns and Vice President of Software Development at Fulcrum Software Solutions. David has also worked as a Solutions Program Manager at Metro Data Center, overseeing data center migrations and cloud solutions. Additionally, David has held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Happy Chair, LLC. David started their career at Sophos, where they held various roles including Vice President of Product Development and Director. David Keene also has experience in executive technology consulting and product development.

David Keene holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University, which they obtained in 1992. David further pursued higher education and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer and Information Science at the same university between 1993 and 1996. In addition to their academic qualifications, David has obtained several certifications, including the Xamarin Certified Mobile Developer certification in 2013, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification in 2009, and multiple badges from Salesforce Trailhead. David is also expected to earn a certification in "What Is Generative AI?" from LinkedIn in 2023.
