Steve Thompson

Steve Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Steve began their career as a Graduate trainee at Renault UK Ltd in 1988. Steve then worked as an Area Operations Manager at Renault UK for a decade. In 1998, they joined Raytheon Professional Services as Director of Marketing & Communications, where they worked closely with key accounts in outsourced automotive training and was responsible for business development. In 2005, they took on the role of Program Manager within the Defence Training Rationalisation (DTR) team at Raytheon Professional Services, working on delivering training expertise for the UK Ministry of Defence. From 2009 to 2011, they served as the Accounts Director UK & Ireland at Raytheon Professional Services. In 2012, they became the EMEA Operations Development Manager and later the Director of New Business Development and Apprenticeship Lead EMEA at Raytheon, where they designed and implemented training solutions aligning with business goals. In 2020, they joined Raytheon Technologies as the Director of New Business Development, and in 2021, they became the Director of New Business Development EMEA at Vertex Professional Services (VPS).

Steve Thompson attended St. Cuthberts High School from 1976 to 1984. Steve then pursued a degree in Business Studies at Leeds Beckett University, where they completed their studies with a 2:1 (Hons) degree from 1984 to 1988.
