Seren KÜNER

Seren KÜNER has had a varied work experience in the field of biology. In 2021, they were appointed as the Director of Biology at VRLab Academy, where they are responsible for scientific research, preparation of laboratory manuals, preparation of virtual laboratory scenarios and demonstration of experiments in both real life and in the virtual laboratory. Seren is also a Science Instructor and Technical Instructor at the same organization. In 2020, they were a Teaching Assistant at Yeditepe University, where they were responsible for teaching Biology 1 - GBE 111. In 2018, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Yeditepe University Plant Biotechnology Laboratory. In 2019, they were an Intern at Sabancı University Plant Nutrition and Physiology Laboratory.

Seren KÜNER completed a Bachelor's of Science in Genetics and Bioenginerring from Yeditepe University between 2015 and 2020. Seren is currently pursuing their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biotechnology from Yeditepe University, which they started in 2020. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, such as Purpose at Work: A Course for Employees and Leaders from the University of Michigan (2023), Understanding Plants - Part II: Fundamentals of Plant Biology from Tel Aviv University (2023), Introduction to Reproduction from Northwestern University (2022), Nanotechnology: A Maker’s Course from Coursera (2022), and Understanding Plants - Part I: What a Plant Knows from Tel Aviv University (2022).
