Ben H. has worked in various roles since 2000. In 2011, they worked as an Application Engineer for Chickasaw Nations Industries, where they assisted in the upkeep of Core Software Applications, development of application upgrade processes, implementations and automation of Costpoint, CRM, Ultipro, Unanet, and SharePoint 2010 applications, and managing SQL Server Application/Databases. In 2014, they worked as a BI Developer and Sharepoint Administrator for Helmerich & Payne, where they participated in the Data Strategy project, led a project that developed a Mobile App and Rest API, and helped develop and maintain the traditional data warehouse. In 2017, they worked as a Data Architect for Verinovum LLC, where they designed, documented, and implemented a scalable CPC+ Measure Engine that decreased processing time by 300%. Ben also managed a 1.2 million customer and 3000 provider population. In 2018, they worked as a Data Analytics Manager/Analyst for the City of Tulsa, where they implemented the Data Governance strategy and integrated data from 30 plus data systems. In 2016, they founded Tulsa Data Science, an Oklahoma nonprofit corporation, and served as President and Founding Board Member. In 2021, Ben H. founded VRNE and served as Founder, where they architected data systems, managed an image annotation team, and engineered an AI data processing pipeline.
Ben H. began their educational journey in 2002, when they attended Francis Tuttle Technology Center and earned a Network Technology degree with a focus on Networking, A+, Net+, Linux+, MCSA, and Network Cabling. In 2006, they continued their studies at the University of Oklahoma, where they obtained a B.S. degree. In 2021, Ben H. began attending Harvard Innovation Labs. Additionally, they obtained a Computer Vision certification from Carnegie Mellon University in April 2022.
