Mark Hartnady

Mark Hartnady is currently the CTO of VRP Consulting. Prior to that, they were the Salesforce Architect & Dev Manager at GlobalSign. Mark was responsible for structuring & recruiting teams of developers, analysts, integration architects and quality assurance engineers and leading all aspects of Agile delivery across 7 legal business entities and into 84 markets globally covering 18 major currencies. The systems deployed included Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud in Lightning), Mulesoft microservices; ReactJS native customer portal hosted on AWS; Ubisecure Identity Access Management; all integrated to Globalsign’s proprietary High-Volume Operational Systems gateways.

Some of Hartnady's key achievements include designing processes & governance to source accurate business requirements in BDD format, establishing the tools, processes & governance for managing development, testing & industrialized continuous integration (JIRA, BitBucket, SFDX, Bamboo, Confluence), and ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance with respect to all change controls. Mark was also successful in managing business stakeholders expectations and feedback through entire project lifecycles, complex change management processes to ensure smooth transition to new platforms, and various business cases & initiatives to campaign for additional budget mid-programme in order to deliver necessary competitiveness for Globalsign.

Mark Hartnady has an MBA from the London Business School, as well as a B.Bus.Sci from the University of Cape Town. Mark is also certified in Salesforce Certified Integration Designer (SU22), Salesforce Certified System Architect, Copado Certified Administrator, Copado Certified Developer, and Salesforce Certified Identity & Access Management Designer (WI21).
