Bjorn van de Velde

Bjorn Van de Velde currently serves as Head of Digital Products at VRT, overseeing a team of over 100 digital experts in charge of high-impact platforms such as VRT NWS and VRT MAX since September 2023. Prior to this role, Bjorn held the position of Manager IT Digital at Luminus, where leadership extended to a multi-site team of more than 50 professionals and involvement in the IT Management Committee. Bjorn's earlier experience includes leading mobile app projects at Ahold Delhaize, managing the IT Demand Supply Chain at Delhaize Belgium, and serving as an Account/Project Manager at ING for online retail channels. Educational background includes a degree from Antwerp Management School and a certificate in Digital Transformation Leadership from Vlerick Business School.
