Jitendra Rai

Jitendra Rai is a skilled professional with extensive experience in project management and rural livelihood initiatives. Currently serving as Project Co-Lead at Vrutti - Livelihood Impact Partners since July 2025, Jitendra focuses on enhancing the prosperity and resilience of smallholder farmers in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Madhya Pradesh. In addition, Jitendra works as a State Resource Person for the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission, specializing in institution building and capacity building for mission staff. Previous roles include Project Manager at Sustainable Green Initiative, State Coordinator at MART Global Management Solutions, Senior Officer at Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR), Project Executive at DHAN Foundation, and Assistant Project Manager at Foundation For Ecological Security. Jitendra holds a PGPDM in Management and Development from SPJIMR, along with a PG Diploma in Foreign Trade from the University of Allahabad and a PG in Development and Management from TATA-DHAN Academy.
