Riaz Sultan

Riaz Sultan is a highly experienced structural engineer with over 23 years in the field, currently serving as a Bridge Engineer at VRX, Inc. since October 2018. Riaz has extensive knowledge of IBC, AASHTO, AISC, AREMA, and ACI codes. Prior to this role, Riaz worked as a Bridge Engineer at AIA Engineering Ltd. and as a Structural Engineer at Bridgefarmer & Associates, Inc., focusing on the design and inspection of bridge substructures. Riaz also held positions as a Structural Designer at URS Corporation, designing park facilities and schools, and as Manager of Engineering at Building for Future Ltd. in Bangladesh, overseeing high-rise residential construction. Riaz holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, obtained between 1988 and 1993.
