Jesus Vargas

Jesus Vargas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in transportation and infrastructure management. As President of VSCE, INC. since September 2004, Jesus has focused on addressing complex challenges in construction management and public relations throughout California. In addition to this role, work as Consultant Quality Assurance Manager for the Orange County Transportation Authority involves overseeing quality assurance for highway projects, including managing QA auditors and reviewing quality management plans. Jesus has also been active with the California High-Speed Rail Authority as a Council Member since February 2014 and served as a past Chair of the City of Alameda Transportation Commission. Previous roles include Principal at APM Joint Venture, Consultant Program Manager at The Unity Council, Director of Business Development at HNTB, and various project management positions at Parsons. Jesus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.
