Eliza Brine

Eliza Brine has a diverse work experience across various industries. Eliza is currently working as a Senior Frontend Software Engineer at VSCO®, starting in February 2023. Before that, they worked at Impira as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2021 to December 2022. At Impira, Eliza played a role in building an AI platform for business users, managing unstructured data and converting it into a structured format.

Prior to Impira, Eliza worked at PicMonkey as a Software Developer from March 2018 to April 2021. Eliza also has experience as a Math Tutor, freelancing from November 2016 to March 2018. As a Math Tutor, Eliza worked one-on-one with students, providing personalized instruction and assistance in various subjects.

Before their freelance work, Eliza was a Researcher at Bridgewater Associates, the world's largest hedge fund, from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant in Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design from September 2014 to December 2014, where they designed and conducted a module on building energy analysis and provided consultation on environmental building technologies.

Eliza's earliest work experience was as a Mechanical Engineer on the TechStyle Haus Team, Solar Decathlon Europe 2014 project. Eliza was involved in the design and construction of a solar-powered house, contributing to various aspects such as energy modeling, system design, and communication of technical systems.

Eliza Brine first attended Brown University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2014, they also briefly studied at Universidad de Granada, focusing on Spanish Language. In 2017, Eliza attended Dev Bootcamp to further their skills in Web Development.
