VP Brand And Design at VSCO

Josh Ulm is the VP Design at VSCO. Prior to their current position, Ulm served as the EVP Innovation Design at Wells Fargo from May 2019 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for exploring the lifecycle of financial innovation and prototype, co-develop, accelerate, and operationalize new and emerging technologies into the business of banking.

Before their time at Wells Fargo, Ulm was the Executive Advisor at Bluescape Software from March 2019 to November 2019. In this role, they were responsible for pioneering the innovation toolset – a visual collaboration platform for quickly understanding evolving projects, expanding organizational creativity, and elevating business outcomes.

Ulm’s other previous roles include Group Vice President of Design, SaaS and IaaS at Oracle from November 2016 to July 2018 and Head of User Experience at Vodafone from August 2009 to December 2010. In their role at Oracle, they were responsible for all strategic, systems, product and organizational design within a top to bottom redesign, redevelopment, repositioning and redeployment of Oracle’s Cloud PaaS and IaaS offerings. Prior to their role at Oracle, Ulm served as the Sr. Director of Experience Design at Adobe from February 2011 to November 2016.

Josh Ulm's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Film Production from Syracuse University and a certification from LinkedIn in Design Thinking: Venture Design. Josh is currently a student at York High School.
