Peter Ossian

Peter Ossian has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps engineering. Peter started their career in 2011 as a System Administrator/IT Help Desk at Michigan State University, where they provided help desk support, maintained deployment environments, and implemented process improvement methodologies.

In 2014, Peter worked as a Contract DevOps Engineer at Lithiumstart, where they wrote embedded, backend, and frontend code and updated Python API codebase.

Peter then joined GE Global Research in 2015 as a Senior DevOps Engineer and served as a team lead for architecting and maintaining version control systems. Peter also built an automation framework for creating virtual machines and provided training on automation practices and agile scrum.

Since 2018, Peter has been working at VSCO as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Peter'sresponsibilities include writing automation and testing platforms, managing Terraform code, and integrating infrastructure with source code management systems.

Throughout their career, Peter has demonstrated expertise in automation, version control, and system maintenance, contributing to the success of the organizations they have worked with.

Peter Ossian completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Michigan State University. Peter studied at the university from 2009 to 2013.
