Sami Kaba

Sami Kaba has a diverse work experience in the field of visual and graphic design. Sami started their career as an intern and graphic designer at Appliances Connection in 2015, where they worked until 2017. Sami then joined Lambent Services as an intern and graphic designer from September 2017 to May 2018. Following this, Sami worked as a freelance graphic designer at Bionic Egg from May 2018 to August 2018. Sami then joined UNICEF as an illustrator and graphic designer, where they led the launch of a global-scale campaign called "Culture & Values" that established UN values and ethics, from September 2018 to August 2019. Sami subsequently worked at Techstars as a UI/graphic designer, providing design support and visual layouts for 9 Fintech startups in the Barclays Accelerator powered by Techstars from September 2019 to February 2020. Sami then joined Mobikasa, a design and development agency, as a visual/UI designer from February 2020 to September 2020, working on various digital materials. Currently, Sami is working at VShift as a senior visual designer, handling projects for multiple clients, including Prudential, Mutual of America, FTSE Russell, Freddie Mac, Proshares, and Skillsurvey. Sami collaborates closely with the dev team, delivering annotations and UI design specifications.

Sami Kaba obtained an Associate's degree in Graphic Design/Illustration from The City University of New York, which spanned from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Damascus University from 2007 to 2011, however, the specific degree and field of study achieved during this time are unknown.
