Kimberly Ferris

Kimberly Ferris has over 40 years of work experience in various roles. Kimberly started their career in 1979 as an Information Receptionist at the USDA Forest Service Supervisors Office. In 1983, they transitioned to the role of Forestry Technician at the USDA Forest Service and worked there until 1989. From 1996 to 2001, Kimberly worked as a GIS Specialist at the Hoopa Valley Tribe. Kimberly then joined AARP in 2013 as an Employment Specialist until 2015. Currently, they are working as a Computer Software Analyst at VSolvit since February 2016.

Kimberly Ferris completed their education with a focus on computer applications. From 2000 to 2002, they attended the College of the Redwoods and earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Applications. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2000, they also attended the College of the Redwoods and obtained an Associate's degree in Technical Preparation. Earlier in their educational journey, from 1988 to 1998, they attended Umpqua Community College and earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Human Services.
