Mitchel Owens

Mitchel Owens has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mitchel is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at VSolvit, starting in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at General Dynamics Information Technology from 2016 to 2022, where they held multiple roles including Cloud Developer Senior, Project Supervisor, and Senior Software Developer. In 2016, Mitchel worked as an Associate Consultant at Fenway Group, gaining experience in software development and mentoring students and graduates. Mitchel also had experience as an Associate Network Admin at LSU Shreveport in 2013 and as a Manager at World Acceptance Corp. from 2011 to 2012 and at First Heritage Credit from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Rafting Specialist at Camp Highlander in 2007 and as a Biking Specialist in 2006.

Mitchel Owens completed their education history by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Louisiana State University in Shreveport from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they graduated from Bacon County High School with a High School Diploma in the years 2000 to 2004.

Furthermore, Mitchel Owens has also earned several additional certifications. In January 2017, they became Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance.
