Gregory Dreyfuss-Kaufman has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Gregory started their career as a Computer Engineer and Lab Assistant at the University of Rochester, where they performed pattern recognition and optics research. Gregory then worked at Borders as a Customer Service representative before joining Monterey Peninsula College as a Robotics/Software Engineering staff member.
In 2001, Gregory joined Desert Star Systems as a Software Engineer. Gregory developed underwater navigation and tracking software for military, scientific, and commercial products. During their time there, they created new software products, prototypes, and in-house test and calibration systems.
In 2007, Gregory joined Boston Dynamics as a Software Support Engineer. Gregory led the technical support department and implemented a 24-hour response plan. Gregory also supported existing customers and prospects on the DI-Guy human simulation software and worked on special projects integrating DI-Guy into third-party simulation systems. Gregory later became a Software Product Engineer, overseeing the product development process and improving the quality and reliability of the company's products.
Gregory joined MAK Technologies in 2013 as a Lead Project Engineer, where they planned schedules, managed budgets, and oversaw the integration of DI-Guy with third-party systems. Gregory later served as a Senior Solutions Architect, responsible for managing solutions engineering for a suite of simulation and visualization software products. Gregory developed a strategy for delivering networked, 3D intensive simulation software applications hosted on public and private clouds.
Currently, Gregory holds the position of Senior Systems Engineer/Project Manager at MAK Technologies. Gregory collaborates with internal program managers, engineers, and customer support to support the U.S. Army Synthetic Training Environment (STE-CSE) operations.
Throughout their career, Gregory has demonstrated strong technical skills, project management abilities, and a focus on customer support.
Gregory Dreyfuss-Kaufman completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Rochester from 1991 to 1996. Gregory later took robotics classes at Monterey Peninsula College and computer programming classes at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
