Helena Åkvist

Helena Åkvist is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and business consulting. Currently serving as Manager of the Project Management Office and Quality Manager at VTD since February 2021, Helena previously owned Raccoon Consulting AB and held the roles of Senior Project Manager (PMP) and Senior Business Consultant, providing support in project management, test leading, and process improvement. Significant assignments include Business Project Manager for ERP implementation at RISE Research Institutes, Test Lead for H&M’s e-commerce platform, and various project management roles across organizations such as BAMA Gruppen AS, OEM International, and the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency. Helena's foundational expertise stems from a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology (1990-1995) and years of consultancy work spanning multiple industries, enhancing supply chain and logistics processes.
