Chris Bahret

Chris Bahret has a diverse work experience spanning various leadership roles in the defense industry. Chris is currently the President of Defense Engineering and Sustainment at VT Group (VTG) since May 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Vice President of Operations at VTG from April 2021 to April 2022. Chris also held the position of President of Naval Engineering (Legacy DELTA Resources) at VTG from April 2020 to May 2022. Before joining VTG, Chris worked at DELTA Resources Inc. as the Vice President of Customer Solutions from April 2013 to April 2020. Chris also served as the Sr. Director of Business Development at Capstone Corporation from October 2011 to April 2013, and as the Vice President of Business Development at Sayres and Associates Corporation from February 2010 to October 2011. Earlier in their career, Chris held the role of Vice President of Operations at Sayres and Associates from March 2007 to January 2010. Chris has also worked at BAE Systems as the Director of Business Development and as a Senior Program Manager from 2002 to 2007. Chris began their career as an Operating Engineer at Bethlehem Steel Corporation - Baltimore Marine Division in 1987.

Chris Bahret attended the United States Merchant Marine Academy from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Systems Engineering.
