Burke Friend

Burke Friend has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Sales Executive at VTrips in 2023. Previously, they served as the Director of Marketing and Admissions at Genesis from July 2022 to February 2023. Prior to that, they were a Local Government Services Representative at West Virginia Treasury from December 2018 to October 2022. Before that, they worked as an Online Marketer at Cowbuyer.com from August 2016 to December 2018. Burke also gained experience in education, serving as an Agriculture Educator at Braxton County High School from July 2014 to June 2015. Their earliest role was as an Animal Disease Traceability Coordinator at the West Virginia Department of Agriculture from February 2007 to March 2014, where they were responsible for implementing regulatory programs and developing reporting procedures.

Burke Friend attended West Virginia University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agriculture Education. During their time at the university, they specialized in the field of Agriculture education. Additionally, they also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agriculture and environmental education at the same institution during the same academic years.
