Hendrik Pantlen has a strong and diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Hendrik is currently working as the Head of Business Development at VTU Group since February 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Director Switzerland at Wood from March 2017 to February 2020. During their time at Wood, Hendrik played a key role in the acquisition and integration process of Amec Foster Wheeler.

Before joining Wood, Hendrik worked as the Head of Sales EMEA at Kinetics from July 2016 to February 2017. Their responsibilities included leading a sales team in Europe and the Middle East, developing sales and marketing strategies, and ensuring effective organizational management.

In their earlier career, Hendrik held senior management positions at M+W Brasil Ltda., a subsidiary of M+W Group, and M+W Brasil Ltda. itself. As the Managing Director from September 2009 to June 2016, they were responsible for overall corporate activities in Brazil and achieved significant growth rates for incoming orders and sales. Prior to that, as the Head of Engineering and Project Management, Hendrik successfully completed large-scale projects in the pharmaceutical industry.

Hendrik began their career as a Project Engineer at Heel GmbH in 1997. Hendrik contributed to the development and manufacture of medicines made from natural substances.

Hendrik Pantlen holds a Dipl. Ing. degree in Process Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Hendrik obtained their Abitur from the Pädagogium Baden-Baden in 1987. Hendrik also completed an Executive MBA from the BSP - Business School São Paulo and conducted a Master Thesis in Process Engineering at the Imperial College London.
