André van Vliet

André van Vliet is an experienced professional in the pension sector, currently serving as a non-executive director at Pensioenfonds ABP since February 2016, where responsibilities include membership and chairing of the Audit Committee. André has held multiple board positions, including participation in a paritarian board and various committees such as the Pension Policy Committee and Risk & Balance Committee. Since January 2021, André has been on the board of the Pensioenfederatie, and since January 2023, also a board member of the Stichting Zelfregulering Pensioenfondsen. André serves on the supervisory board of Havensteder and chairs the Remuneration Committee. In addition, André has held leadership roles at the Van Ravesteyn Fonds and previously at the Dutch Pension Fund and Stichting Pensioenfonds Hoogovens. Academically, André holds a Master's in Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a PhD in Operations Research, and certification as a Pension Consultant from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
