Kermit S. Claytor

Kermit S. Claytor is the Founder and Principal of Kings Mountain Capital Group, LLC, a Single Family Office providing governance, investment management, and real estate management since January 2011. Kermit also serves as a Venture Fellow at VU Venture Partners, focusing on investments across various sectors. With a background as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff at the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office since 2008, Kermit has received specialized training in Interview and Interrogation Techniques and Financial Crimes. Previously, Kermit held roles as a Private Wealth Advisor at Kings Mountain Capital Group, LLC from 1994 to 2011, and as a Market Analyst at Standard & Poor's/MMS International from 1989 to 1994. Kermit holds a BS in Economics from Santa Clara University, a Certificate of Financial Management for the Family Office from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, and several POST certifications. Kermit is currently pursuing education in Venture Capital at Venture University.
