Marcello Orizi

Marcello Orizi has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Marcello is currently a Co-Founder at VUIT since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Information Technology at Mentefredda starting from June 2014. Before Mentefredda, Marcello was the CEO and co-founder of Prossima Isola since March 2008, where they focused on developing various digital products and services. Additionally, they worked as a Development Manager at Sysint[Beta80] from November 2004 to February 2008, where they contributed to the development and porting process of applications. Earlier in their career, Marcello held the position of Development Manager at Sysint, where they worked on various projects, including the development of an access control system and outsourcing IT systems for Imi San Paolo Bank. Marcello began their career as a Researcher at Marconi Communications S.P.A., where they specialized in optical networks.

Marcello Orizi attended the Università di Pisa from 1994 to 2001, where they pursued a degree in Informatics Engineering. Marcello successfully completed their studies, earning a degree with a score of 108/110.
