Principal Systems Engineer at Vulcan Forms

Raghav Aggarwal has a diverse range of work experience. Raghav started their career as a Summer Trainee at Hindustan Unilever Ltd in 2011. Raghav then worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi for a few months before joining MIT as a Research Assistant in 2012. Raghav worked at MIT for nearly six years.

In 2018, Raghav joined VulcanForms Inc., where they have held various roles. Raghav started as a Process Engineer and was responsible for demonstrating the feasibility of VulcanForms' LPBF technology by printing high-quality parts. Raghav then became an AM Engineer, specializing in process architecture optimization using physics-based and data-based models. Later, they took on the role of Senior AM Engineer and served as the technical lead in the development of the Additive Manufacturing Digital Thread, using tools to ensure the highest quality printed part production.

As of May 2021, Raghav Aggarwal is a Technical Lead - Process Control at VulcanForms Inc. In February 2022, they assumed their current role as a Principal Systems Engineer.

Raghav Aggarwal obtained their primary education from The Mother's International School between 1999 and 2008. During this period, they pursued studies in various subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Computer Science. After completing their secondary education, Raghav pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2012 to 2014. Raghav continued their education at MIT and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering between 2014 and 2018.
