David Gorton, CPA, CMA has a diverse work experience in various financial roles. David started their career as a Cash Room Attendant at the City of Spokane, where they managed cash distribution and performed daily reconciliations. David then worked at Blackfoot Telecommunications Group as an Accounting Analyst, leading the collection and analysis of telecommunications assessments and successfully reducing operating expenses.

After that, David worked at The Seattle Public Library as an Accountant, where they compiled and presented financial performance reporting for library programs and performed ad hoc analysis on the library's donation budget.

Following this, they joined Vulcan Inc. as a Staff Accountant, and later became a Senior Accountant. In these roles, they managed financial and accounting functions for various projects, including a Tanzanian elephant sanctuary and a music festival. David also provided financial support for operational departments, art acquisitions, and museum operations.

Currently, David is working at Vulcan Inc. as a Manager, Real Estate Finance. In this role, they lead financial planning, accounting, and business analysis for a $2+ billion real estate development portfolio. David implemented an interactive financial model for debt forecasting and interest expense projections.
