Yuta Masuda

Yuta Masuda has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Yuta currently holds the position of Director of Science at Vulcan LLC since September 2022. Prior to this, Yuta worked at The Nature Conservancy from July 2013 to September 2022, where they held the roles of Senior Sustainable Development and Behavioral Scientist, as well as Policy Scientist. Before joining The Nature Conservancy, Yuta worked at RTI International as a Health Economist I from August 2006 to August 2008. Yuta also has experience as an NGO Development Volunteer at Peace Corps from May 2005 to May 2006.

Yuta Masuda completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economics from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business between the years 2001 and 2005. Yuta then pursued further education and obtained their Ph.D. in Public Policy and Management from the University of Washington, studying from 2008 to 2014.
