Joshua Melder

Customer Operations Specialist | Medical Device at VuMedi

Joshua Melder has worked in a variety of positions in the past seven years. In 2014, they worked as a Y Mentor at the YMCA, where they built relationships, lead through positive role modeling, and engaged youth in fun activities. From 2015-2017, they worked at the University of Minnesota as a Community Advisor (CA), Assistant Program Leader for the Landscape of Sustainable Tourism in Iceland, and Assistant Program Leader for the Coral Reef Management in Belize. Additionally, they worked as a Camp Vertical Key Leader at Elmbrook Church in 2015. In 2017, Joshua began working at Quad as an Account Manager and Corporate Trainee, where they designed and deployed Strategy Deployment for Content Services Division and facilitated internal CI / Kaizen workshops while implementing Lean initiatives. In 2018, they worked as a User Experience Contributor at UserTesting. Currently, Joshua is a Customer Operations Specialist for Medical Device at VuMedi, where they help serve more than 500,000 physicians and healthcare professionals in over 20 specialities worldwide.

Joshua Melder has a diverse educational background. Joshua began their studies in 2010 at Capernwray Hall Bible School, Torchbearers International in Carnforth, England, where they earned a Certificate in Biblical Studies. Joshua then attended UW-Milwaukee at Waukesha from 2012 to 2014, receiving an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. From 2014 to 2017, they attended the University of Minnesota, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Joshua is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, which they are expected to receive in 2023. Additionally, Melder has obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Accounting Foundations and Accounting Foundations: Bookkeeping (2021), and in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (2020). Joshua also holds a Certified Diver certification from PADI (2020).
