Shane Porzio

Shane Porzio is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in technology and hardware development. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Vuzix Corporation since January 2008, Shane has held various positions, including Director of Engineering and Hardware Development Manager, with responsibilities that include recruiting and managing the hardware development team and collaborating with executive management on product requirements and development schedules. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. Electrical Engineer at Lockheed Martin from 2005 to 2008 and Hardware Engineer at Rochester Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2005, where Shane also completed a co-op program. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Technology, both from Rochester Institute of Technology.
