Debbie Ten Cate

Debbie ten Cate serves as a Board Member for the Geriatrics and Gerontology Division at V&VN since March 2022 and is a Lecturer in Clinical Health Sciences (Nursing Science) at Universiteit Utrecht since February 2020. Additionally, since September 2010, Debbie ten Cate holds the position of Postdoctoral Researcher in the Research Group Proactive Care for Older People Living at Home, focusing on prevention, nutritional care, and lifestyle support for older adults in various care settings. Previous roles include a Project Member in the Expert Council Education for the Stuurgroep Ondervoeding and positions at St. Antonius Ziekenhuis, where responsibilities ranged from a Registered Nurse in Cardiothoracic Surgery to a Research Nurse in Cardiology. Debbie ten Cate's educational background includes leadership training in nursing research, a Master’s in Health Sciences from Utrecht University, and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
