Ivonne Oomen

Ivonne Oomen is an experienced oncology nurse and consultant with a diverse background in oncological care. Since February 2009, Ivonne has worked at Allerzorg/Care for Cancer as a Coordinator and Consultant, providing support to cancer patients in their homes. Ivonne is also a member of the core group for V&VN, focusing on primary oncology nursing since April 2019. In addition, Ivonne operates as a freelance oncology nurse and psychological oncology counselor, specializing in sexology consultancy. Volunteer work includes providing training about the social support network to volunteers at Inloophuis de Eik and conducting monthly consultations. Previous roles include introducing a module on sexology and intimacy in post-treatment rehabilitation at Revalidatiecentrum Blixembosch and serving as a specialized oncology nurse at Catharina Hospital Eindhoven for over three decades. Ivonne holds relevant qualifications including sexology education from Rino groep Utrecht and additional studies at Avans University of Applied Sciences.
