Maaike Gerards

Maaike Gerards has extensive experience in nursing and community healthcare, currently serving as the Ambassador of Community Nursing at V&VN since February 2022. Maaike has worked with the Municipality of Heerhugowaard as a Social Community Nurse since January 2015 and has been a Coordinating Community Nurse at Evean Zorgteam Heerhugowaard since June 2006. Previous roles include Practice Nurse at Huisartsenpraktijk De Bergerhoef in Alkmaar and Huisartsenpraktijk De Overlander. Maaike holds a bachelor's degree from Inholland University of Applied Sciences (1994-1998) and has completed multiple post-bachelor qualifications in elderly care and nursing practice management through Inholland Academy and Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen.
