Marieke Schreuder-Cats

Marieke Schreuder-Cats has a robust background in nursing and oncology, currently serving as a member of the members' council at V&VN and as an advisor for learning and development at St. Antonius Ziekenhuis. Marieke holds extensive teaching experience from Hogeschool Utrecht, where a teaching role was held from September 2018 to May 2022. Prior experience includes working as a nursing specialist in medical oncology at UMC Utrecht from 2010 to 2018, and leadership positions as chair of V&VN Oncologie and project leader at IKNL, focusing on decision-making in the palliative phase. Marieke began a nursing career at UMC Utrecht in 1996. Educational qualifications include a Master's in nursing specialization from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, a Master's degree in nursing science from Utrecht University, and a Bachelor's degree in nursing from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
