Saskia Bollen

Saskia Bollen is currently a Promovendus at Vrije Universiteit Brussel since September 2022. With extensive experience in mental health care, Saskia has been a Manager at Mondriaan since October 2003, overseeing the intake for elderly clients and serving as a Verpleegkundig specialist within the outpatient psychiatric care sector. Previous roles include various positions as a GGZ Verpleegkundig specialist in both outpatient and long-term care settings, as well as practical experience in nursing and support for individuals in acute care. In addition to clinical roles, Saskia has been involved in professional governance as a Bestuurslid for the Registratiecommissie Specialismen Verpleegkunde since January 2020 and has contributed to the field through editorial work with the Vakblad Dé Verpleegkundig Specialist from June 2017 to October 2023. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in geestelijke gezondheidszorg and dual bachelor’s degrees in nursing and social work.
